The SHOTGUN MTB TOW ROPE is the perfect way to take the hassle out of hill climbs for younger riders. And, although it is designed with kids in mind who are riding a 16" or 20" wheel bike, this Polyester rope is strength-rated to 225kg (500lb) which also makes it strong enough to tow adults in certain circumstances.
Quick To Attach And Remove With shock-absorbing stretch for a comfortable tow uphill, without getting caught in the wheel the SHOTGUN MTB TOW ROPE can be quickly attached and removed (stem loop + carabiner included). The rope measures 1.7m / 5.5 feet un-stretched and 3.3m / 10.8 feet fully stretched.
Easy To Use The best way to employ the SHOTGUN MTB TOW ROPE is to attach one end to the dropper post on the first bike and the other end over the stem of the second bike for a quick stint, or around the stem for longer climbs (carabiner included). To minimise wear and tear on your seat post you should remain seated when towing.
Safe For Use On E-Bikes The SHOTGUN MTB TOW ROPE can be used with e-MTB bikes as the lead 'vehicle' however SHOTGUN recommend the person being towed is also pedalling to minimise the load on the e-Bike motor.
